Urvi Jhaveri Sanghvi, MS, RN
Urvi, who has an MS in Nursing with emphasis in Clinical Science, is a doctoral student at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus and a Clinical Nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Her graduate research, to be completed in 2021, is focused on clinical and biobehavioral science, specifically how the transformative nature of biology and behavior influence the health of children born prematurely. Her work as a clinical nurse centers on initiatives that advance the care of those with critical pediatric and congenital cardiovascular disease.
She was raised in Southern California and attended the University of California – San Diego where she earned her BS in Neuroscience and Physiology. Her training as a scientist began in drug discovery at Celgene Corporation, studying genomics and translational medicine to develop promising new therapies. In 2009, Urvi moved to Denver where she started her career as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Researcher, and continues her commitment to deepening our understanding of pediatric health.
Urvi and her husband live in Denver with their two beautiful children.
