Lisa Ashla, MPH
Lisa was raised on Long Island in New York and has lived in Connecticut since 1996. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from the State University of New York at Cortland and a master’s degree in public health from New York Medical College.
Lisa has built a successful career in the fields of public health and healthcare and currently serves as a senior director for clinical programs at UnitedHealthcare. She is committed to developing health solutions and resources for various populations to build healthier communities.
Lisa lives in Newtown with her husband, Andy, and two kids, Ava and Eli. They enjoy all that the community has to offer in festivals, barn music concerts, and the beautiful open spaces of a New England town.
Lisa serves as The Avielle Foundation’s the Board of Directors Secretary.
