The Brainstorm Experience is a recurring series of Brain Health experiences featuring specialists, activists, and human-interest stories about Brain Health. Brainstorm Experience will introduce topics of brain health in new, informative, and engaging ways in order to bridge the gap for those who may be suffering in silence, know someone who needs extra support, or simply want to deepen their knowledge on brain health issues.
Education and community engagement in the form of a shared, intimate and interactive experience – such as hearing and engaging with a stimulating speaker, has proven advantageous to brain health because of the impact such experiences have in lessening feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation. This is in large part due to the empathy, conversation, and human connection that result from such shared experiences.
UPCOMING: We are kicking off the series with Founder and Chief Playmaker of the Life is Good Kids Foundation, Steve Gross. Steve is a leader in the field of psychological trauma and a pioneer in utilizing playful engagement and meaningful relationships to overcome the devastating impact of early childhood trauma.
